Tags and tag groups

A tag is a label attached to a lab. Tags group related labs together and power the filters on your team’s content page and in reporting. Tag groups bundle multiple tags so you can assign and filter them in bulk.

  1. In the sidebar, click Building blocksTags.
  2. Click Create tag.
  3. Enter a tag name.
  4. Click Create tag.
  1. In the sidebar, click Building blocksTags.
  2. Click the Groups tab.
  3. Click Create group.
  4. Enter a group name.
  5. Search for and associate tags with the group.
  6. Click Create group.

You can add more tags to a group at any time.

  1. Open the lab and go to its Project settings.
  2. In the Tags field, select the tags for this lab.

Tags categorize the lab so users can find it through search and filters on your team page.

Tags work as filters in two places:

  • The Labs list: use the Filter by tags field to narrow the list to labs carrying a tag.
  • Reporting: every report has an All tags/groups filter, so you can scope activity, user, and session data to the labs that share a tag – for example, everything belonging to one product line or campaign.
