Usage report

The Usage report shows how much sandbox capacity your content used over a period: how many sandboxes were started, how long they ran, and how much of that came from Hot Starts.

To open it, go to Reporting in the left navigation and select Usage.

The cards at the top cover the selected period.

  • Sandboxes – the number of sandboxes started.
  • Total sandbox time – the combined time all sandboxes ran.
  • Unclaimed Hot Starts – Hot Start sandboxes that were started but not used by anyone.
  • Total Hot Start time – the combined time Hot Start sandboxes ran.

The chart next to the cards shows the selected metric over the period. Click a card to change the metric.

The All tracks table shows the same metrics per track. Its columns are Track, Sandboxes, Total sandbox time, Unclaimed Hot Starts, and Total Hot Start time.

  • Date range – for example Last 7 days.
  • Time zone – your local time zone or UTC.
  • Play type – Normal plays excludes plays by the content’s authors. Developer plays shows only those plays. All plays shows both.
  • Tracks, Invites, Landing pages, Authors, and Tags – narrow the results to specific tracks, invites, landing pages, authors, or tags.

Click Download CSV and choose:

  • Overview – one row per day, with the four metrics.
  • All tracks – one row per track, with the current and previous period.

Both exports use the filters you have selected.
