Cloud providers – allowed services and regions
Labs can include real cloud accounts – AWS, GCP, or Azure – as part of their sandbox. To keep cloud usage safe and predictable, a team Owner decides which cloud services and regions content creators can use. Content creators then pick from that allowed set when they configure a lab’s cloud resources.
Configure allowed services and regions
Section titled “Configure allowed services and regions”- In the sidebar, click Settings → Cloud providers.
- Select the cloud provider tab: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- In the Services section, click Manage, search for the services you want to allow, and click Save.
- In the Regions section, click Manage, search for the regions you want to allow, and click Save.
Content creators can now use the allowed services and regions in their labs’ cloud provider resources.
Requesting a service that isn’t listed
Section titled “Requesting a service that isn’t listed”The set of services you can allow is curated by Instruqt. Every service goes through a review before it becomes available: we research whether it’s feasible to support and assess its security profile, including the guardrails needed before enabling it.
If a service or region you need isn’t in the list, contact Instruqt Support. The review can take up to a month, after which we come back with a conclusion on feasibility.
